Pediatrician Dr. Greg Parkinson will discuss his new book, “Giggle More, Worry Less: A Pediatrician’s Thoughts for New Parents”, at the Library on Saturday, June 13th at 11am. Free, but reservations are recommended by calling the library at 508-548-4709. Books will be available for purchase and author signing.
Parents love. Parents worry. Parenthood is a joy. It is difficult and stressful as well. How can you maximize the joy and minimize the stress? That is the goal of “Giggle More, Worry Less: A Pediatrician’s Thoughts for New Parents.”
Common sense, compassion and a sense of humor, all help. You will learn about “How to manipulate your mother” and that “Spit happens”. And even though your own parents say that “everything has changed” since you were a baby, you can still both be doing a good job. If I could sit down and share with you what every new parent should know this is what I would share.
