What is Falmouth Reading 2012: Seen the Glory by John Hough, Jr.. Click here to see events. Falmouth readers can participate in several events that will tie in with the book, Seen the Glory: a novel of the Battle of Gettysburg by John Hough, Jr. WFL will host a book discussion on Fri. Feb. 10 @ 4:00.
Feb. 13, Mon. at 7:00pm: Mostly Strings Winter Concert with John Yankee and Bill Black. Once again, you can enjoy the musical talents of local musicians, John Yankee and Bill Black in our comfy Community Room. Tickets are available at the library: $12 for adults and $8 for students. Feb. 8, Wed., 2:30-4:30pm : Learn how to download CLAMS items to your electronic devices. FREE. Bring in your portable electronic devices to the library and we will help you get started exploring the world of digital downloads available for free with your CLAMS card. Thursday afternoon, Feb. 16 at 3:00pm - Winter Movie Matinee Series - free. Films based on books will be the theme of our free Winter Movie Matinee Series. Join us in the Community Room as we view 4 films on our large screen. Click on the green headline to see the list of the books from which our films were adapted.

Winter Session of Mother Goose on the Loose and Story Boat begins 1-10-12 Our Winter Session will begin 1/10/12. MGOL will be held on Tues. & Fri. at both 10:15 & 11:15. Story Boat will be at 10:15 on Tuesdays and Fridays. Neither program will meet the week of Feb. 20 - 24. Drop in!
Donations Wanted for our Annual 2012 Book Sale. Items accepted until June 16:hard and soft cover books, paperbacks, audio and music cds, dvds, puzzles, childrens books. Not accepted: magazines, encyclopedias, text books, Readers Digest, records, cassettes, VHS, damaged or mildewed books.
Feb. 26, Sunday, 3:00-5:00 p.m.: Calliope Poetry readings. Donations: $5.00 The next meeting will be on Feb. 26. Open-mike sign-ups 2:45 pm. Refreshments provided.

Feb. 23, Thur. (4-8 pm), & Sat. Feb. 25 (10 am - 2pm),: 4-H Babysitting Course for ages 11-15. $25 Learn about basic first-aid, child safety, emergencies, feeding & nutrition, discipline and more. Sign up at the library in advance with your payment of $25. Snacks will be provided, but you will need to bring a meal and drinks for each day.
Thursdays at 3:30 -5:00 Seaside Knitters - drop in. Every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. knitters of every level are welcome to come and share their expertise and/or learn the basics of knitting. Children are encouraged to attend. This is a drop-in activity. Free.
