Newsletter Headlines - more Thursdays, starting July 24- Aug 14 from 4:30-5:30 pm Flat Stanley and Stella Adventures. Children ages 7-10 can sign up for 4 Thursdays to create their own Flat Stanley or Flat Stella who will then be sent off to various destinations. This program is free. Please pre-resgister at the library. August 8, Friday, 10 am -2 pm 4-H Coastal Explorer Marine Discovery Van. Rain or shine, come visit these fun hands-on displays showcasing marine life. This program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. August 18th, Monday, 7 pm: West Falmouth Library Annual Meeting Come celebrate the year and honor the scholarship recipients. Refreshments will be served. Sea Side Knitters will be taking the rest of the summer off. See you in September! Sea Side Knitters with Rena Chapelle will begin again in September. Stay tuned for more information. July 31st, 4-5pm Beading Workshop with Elizabeth Meade for ages 6 and up. $7.00 fee Advance registration is necessary to take part in this fun beading workshop where you will learn to make a beautiful necklace with Ms. Meade. Summer Reading Program for ages 4 - 8th grade begins July 8th and ends August 14th. Reading Brings the World to You, is the theme for our Summer Reading Program for children. Starting July 8th, children can pick up a reading log. A completed log earns the reader a prize and attendance at the end of the program party in August. Story Boat Story time: Wednesdays, July 9-August 13 from 10:30-11:15 am for children ages 3-6. There are 20 spaces available every Wednesday for children accompanied by a parent or guardian who are free to visit the rest of the library while the program is in session. This program is free. WFL 28th Annual Art Show and Sale begins 7/11 and ends 8/2. The show can be viewed during Library hours and on 2 Sundays: 7/20th and 7/27 from 1 -3 pm. Art will be on display until Aug. 2nd. All proceeds from this event benefit the local artists and the West Falmouth Library. Circulation at the library has gone electronic via the CLAMS system. PLEASE CLICK ON THE GREEN HEADLINE FOR ACCESS TO THE CLAMS LIBRARY CATALOGUE. CLAMS library cards issued from any CLAMS library are now needed to check out materials from our library. West Falmouth Library cards can be issued.
