The winter session for the following children’s early literacy programs is underway!
Please choose only one session per week to attend. These programs are offered as drop in and are free. No programs during February vacation February 15-19 or Good Friday, March 25.
Mother Goose on the Loose® (MGOL) is a thirty-minute early literacy program designed for infants up to age three and their caregivers. The program is offered on Tuesday at 10:15 and 11:15 and on Friday at 10:15. This program is led by staff member, Amy Sellers and it includes songs, rhymes and active participation. There is no advanced registration but the weekly program sessions are designed for 15 children and their care-givers at each one. Please choose one time a week to attend as the program is the same at each and so space is available for all who wish to participate.
Story Boat, an early literacy preschool story time designed for children ages 3 up to 6 years will meet on Tuesday and Friday at 10:15 am with 15 spaces available at each session. This program is led by Library staff member Rosemary Modic and includes rhymes, stories, and an age appropriate craft. Please choose one time a week to attend as the program is the same at each and so space is available for all who wish to participate.
