Join us Thursday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. for a multi-media lecture by George Scharr, Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra Education Director, which will offer a preview of the April Brahms’ Masterpiece Concert with the CCSO, focusing on two seemingly disparate disciplines – science and art. Tickets are $8 at the door.
Mr. Scharr’s presentation is very visually oriented and entertaining with many musical audio samplings. Projected images, custom videos and audio clips are used to weave the teaching thread.
What does recycling and music have in common? How does science relate to art? Are there fundamental principles common to both? Take this class and experience the earth and art in a way you have never thought of before. This will open your eyes and your heart to some universal principles that apply across both disciplines.
You will walk away with a much deeper understanding, of just a little bit more of the world’s great music. Attending this lecture will heighten your early April CCSO concert experience. Guaranteed!
