West Falmouth Library will celebrate its 5th anniversary as a member of the CLAMS (Cape and Islands Libraries Materials Sharing) network throughout the week of April 30th.
The public is invited to visit the Library and use their CLAMS library card or come in and apply for a card (photo ID required). Learn how to access electronic books through the CLAMS network using OverDrive on Thurs., May 2 at 4pm. Refreshments will be available each afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until closing. Children age 4 up to adults are invited to participate in the “Guess How Many Clams” in a jar contest. A $25 Eight Cousins gift certificate will be awarded to the person with the closest guess.
The Library lends materials through CLAMS enabling anyone with a CLAMS library card to borrow materials. WFL offers an extensive DVD collection as well as books and audio books for children and adults. Patrons may borrow materials and return them to any CLAMS library, as well as return other CLAMS member library materials at WFL.
WFL is an independently operated nonprofit organization. As part of its mission it offers a number of educational programs and a variety of events during the year for all age groups, such as author talks, speakers on current topics of interest, concerts and craft workshops.
