As part of this year’s Winter House tour, the Silent Auction has been set up at the library and is ready for bids. This year the auction is open through Sunday, December 11th. Bids close at 4:00 pm on that Sunday. This year’s items are in the main part of the library so a ticket to the Winter House Tour and Boutique is not necessary in order to bid. Bid high and bid often! It all supports our library.

This year’s silent auction has over 20 items or baskets of items. They include rare books, jury-awarded framed photos, beautiful quilted Christmas tree skirt, exquisite handmade felt bag, gift cards from local merchants, family membership to the Falmouth Historical Society, a Paul Sellers reindeer and many more items. There are themed baskets, as described below.

The silent auction baskets/items are:

Wooden Reindeer by Paul Sellers – starting bid $50

Quilted Christmas Tree Skirt by Cathy Williamson – $150 value

Simon Pearce Christmas Tree – $110 value, donated by Village Trading Company
