wfl.boutique2Enjoy touring six festively decorated homes offering creative inspiration, and also get some holiday shopping done, at the 37th Annual West Falmouth Library Holiday House Tour and Boutique, from 11 am to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the Tour at the Library only. Tickets are available at the Library and West Falmouth Market, Uptown Dog Cape Cod, Woods Hole Market, Uncle Bill’s Country Store, Eight Cousins, The Black Dog Mashpee, Howlingbird Studio and Titcomb’s Bookshop in Sandwich.

The Tour is a mix of historic and contemporary homes in West Falmouth and Old Silver Beach, and also features a West Falmouth Village condominium and two homes in the Ballymeade development, offering special features such as magnificent water views and unique architectural detailing. This year’s theme is “Deck the Halls”, exemplified in homes filled with eye catching and unique holiday décor. The Tour includes the historic West Falmouth Library, where the eagerly anticipated Holiday Boutique will be set up in the Library’s community room. Enjoy light refreshments and shop for handmade holiday gifts, decorations and fresh greens arrangements during the tour, as the ticket also provides admission to the Boutique.

“The homeowners are all sharing their unique collectibles and holiday traditions in appreciation of the Library as the heart of the community,” said Su Moran, chair of the 2013 house tour committee.

The event is one of the Library’s major annual fundraisers, and proceeds from the Tour and Boutique will benefit the Library and its various community events and programs.
