DESCRIPTION:Join Early Learning Specialist Erin Fitzgerald on the lawn for a playful journey into mindfulness and emotional literacy with movement games, stories and songs on Tuesday, September 9th 1-1:45pm at the Library. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and aware of the moment — helping kids manage their feelings and behaviors, improving attention, social interactions and overall well-being. Suitable for children ages 2-6 (siblings welcome) with a caregiver.\nMindfulness is the practice of being fully present and aware of the moment — helping kids manage their feelings and behaviors, improving attention, social interactions and overall well-being.\nThis group will meet on the first Tuesday each month, at a new location in Mashpee and Falmouth, outdoors whenever possible!\nThe Coalition for Children is an education and support program for caregivers with children from birth to age 6 funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Our programs are available at no cost to families thanks to the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) Grant.\nRegistration required.
