Lauren’s latest novel, Candle Island, published in 2025, was a finalist for the New England Book Award.\nAdditionally, Lauren is a visual artist represented by the Larkin Gallery (Provincetown and Harwich Port), and an award-winning poet and filmmaker. The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod recently named Lauren 2026 Artist of the Year, along with her InkLines Project co-founder Jackie Reeves. Wolk was also awarded a 2026 Creative Individuals grant by the MA Cultural Council.
