“Scarecrows of Bourne Farm” Book Launch

This free event celebrates the book launch of “The Scarecrows of Bourne Farm,” the recently published children’s book by Cathy Henrich, on Thursday, August 13 at 4 PM. The event is aimed for families with children ages 3 and up.

Held in collaboration with Salt Pond Bird Sanctuaries Inc., the event includes a presentation about the book and a craft activity. The author and her daughter, Amie Webb who did the photography, will be present. The books will be available to purchase and signed by the author.

“The Scarecrows of Bourne Farm” is Salt Pond’s first nonfiction book for ages 4 through 8, based on the activities that take place at Bourne Farm. Established in 1775, Bourne Farm is on the National Register of Historic Places. All proceeds from book sales will go toward the maintenance of the property.
