Dragonflies, Damselflies & Spreadwings Zoom Program

 

Naturalist and animal educator Joy Marzolf will lead the following programs via Zoom, geared toward adults, in conjunction with Joy’s Zoom programs for kids. BUTTERFLIES OF NEW ENGLAND on Monday, August 3 at 7:00 pm – There is a huge range of size and coloration of butterflies in our region. What makes a good butterfly habitat? How do you attract those beautiful animals? Find out more about our local butterflies and what brings them to our neighborhoods.

DRAGONFLIES, DAMSELFLIES & SPREADWINGS on Monday, August 10 at 7:00 pm – What is the difference between a dragonfly and damselfly? Enjoy beautiful images of these animals and learn more about these amazing flyers and how their presence in our neighborhoods can benefit all of us!

Joy Marzolf began working with reptiles when she attended Carleton College in Minnesota. She went on to work with animals at the Oregon Zoo like sea otters and polar bears. Her work with the zoo led Marzolf to work with a company that does educational live reptile programs for schools and state fairs from Arizona to Alaska starting in the early 2000s.
