Virtual Platforms Webinar

We are pleased to announce West Falmouth Library has been selected to participate in Libraries Lead with Digital Skills, an initiative of ALA and the Public Library Association (PLA), sponsored by Grow With Google, the tech company’s economic opportunity initiative. The West Falmouth Library in collaboration with our local BNI Chapter is using the funding to host a series of free, virtual webinars to empower local small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The first webinar is Virtual Platforms for Meetings on Monday, August 10th, 12pm-1pm. This webinar will discuss the different virtual platforms that can be used for meetings. It will also go over how to adjust your settings, and how to have a great presentation and what to and not to do during virtual meetings. One virtual platform that will be discussed is Google Meet.

To register for a webinar, email the West Falmouth Library at westfalmouthlibrary@gmail.com. The live webinars are limited to 25 participants and the first person to register will get a free half hour of one-on-one help with the presenter of that webinar. Anyone who registers for a webinar after the 25 participant limit will receive a recording of the webinar. The recordings can also be requested up to two weeks from the date of the live webinar.
