NEW! Juried Art Show – Call for Artists
We will soon be accepting submissions for the West Falmouth Library Juried Art Show. Accepting paintings, photography, sculpture, and ceramics. The show runs from Tuesday, July 30th through Sunday, August 11th, with an opening reception on Tuesday, July 30th. Loom Potholder Craft Activity Tuesday, July 9th 2pm-3:30pm – for Children Ages 5 and up
For children ages 5 and up, learn how to make a potholder using looms and loops, on Tuesday, July 9th 2pm-3:30pm. All materials included. This is a free event, and limited to 10 participants. Email Children’s Program Coordinator Martha Gilbert at missmarthawfl@gmail.com to register.
Tuesday Storytimes with Miss Martha – 10am and 11:15am – Registration required
Miss Martha hosts Mother Goose on the Loose Tuesdays 10-10:30am. For Ages 0-3 and Caregivers – A 30 minute early literacy program including songs, rhymes, and stories. Optional Stay and Play until 11am. Story Boat is 11:15-11:45am Tuesdays. For Ages 3-5 and Caregivers – stories, songs, and fingerplays. Registration required. The Library provides a public collection of seeds where anyone can “borrow” small quantities of seeds and grow them--a seed library. If the resulting seeds are saved, some of them can be returned to the library for the next grower. Bridge and Mahjong Weekly on Wednesdays – Experienced Players Welcome
Experienced players are welcome to the weekly Mahjong and Bridge games at the Library. Bridge meets Wednesdays 10am-12pm. The Mahjong group meets Wednesdays 1pm-4pm.
Seaside Knitters Group Tuesdays & Thursdays 2pm-4pm
The Seaside Knitters Group meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2pm-4pm at the Library. This is an open group, all levels of proficiency are welcome. Bring an unfinished work or start a new project.
