Jane’s Memorial Garden

This garden is on Library property on the north side of the Library. It is beautifully landscaped with a lovely perennial area, an herb garden and a large grass area surrounded by trees. The outstanding display of perennials is named for its originator, Jane Carlson. A diagram of ‘Jane’s Garden’ created by Anne Schmaltz is available for the public to use to identify these gorgeous flowers. Please ask the staff at the circulation desk.

Volunteers, Ben Coffin, Charlotte and Mary Harris, Charlie McCaffrey, and Carol McInnes tend the garden. The Library is also indebted to the gift of ongoing lawnmowing services by Chapoquoit Landscaping.
