Phil is a self-taught artist, primarily working with oils on canvas. While living on Cape Cod his whole life and traveling the New England region, he developed his passion for seascape and landscape art. He tries to add love, fun and value to all new art discoveries. He enjoys painting a memorable beach scene or a mountain adventure, and tries to capture it with eloquent simplicity. He paints for himself while also accepting commissioned work. His work has been featured in Cape Cod Life magazine.
