This event is now full. The library and Chapoquoit Yacht Club are so pleased to host National Book Award-winning author Nathaniel Philbrick at West Falmouth Library on Wednesday, August 6th at 5pm. Philbrick will be discussing his memoir Second Wind: The Story of a Sailor’s Comeback, a fascinating and charming account of his attempt to recapture a national sailing championship he’d won at twenty-two. Eight Cousins Books is providing books for purchase and signing.
