Opportunities for Giving
West Falmouth Library has been an independent community gathering space since 1879. As an historic nonprofit, 90% of our funding comes from donors like you, thank you! Donations to West Falmouth Library are tax deductible, our EIN is 04-2214857.
Monthly Recurring Gifts
Monthly recurring gifts offer the opportunity to make gifts that add up over time and provide the Library with a predictable source of support. In this way, a monthly giving plan may allow you to make a larger impact on the library than might otherwise have been possible. Payments will be automatically charged to your credit or debit card on the monthly anniversary of your original gift.
Memorial Gifts
Gifts can be made in a person’s memory via our Annual Giving form or by contacting the Library at 508-548-4709.
Gifts of Securities, or Charitable Distribution from your IRA
Please call the Library at 508-548-4709 or email Executive Director Molly Akin at makin@clamsnet.org to make a gift of securities or a charitable distribution from your IRA.
Matching Gifts
Many employers and companies match their employees’ philanthropic contributions. Your generosity to the Library could be doubled or even tripled. Ask your HR representative today to confirm if your firm/company has a matching gift program.

Planned Gifts
Planned gifts are a way for you to establish a legacy at the Library that will extend far beyond your lifetime. Sponsorship
The Library welcomes underwriters for many of its children’s programs as well as other special events. If you are interested in sponsoring a program or activity, please contact Molly Akin at makin@clamsnet.org.
West Falmouth Library is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
The Annual Fund supports operations — including purchases of library materials, funding for programs and events, building maintenance, salaries, supplies, utilities, and more.
The Capital Campaign supports longer term needs such as increasing our endowment and improving our ability to pursue our strategic goals.

If you are visiting the Library we have annual fund donation envelopes available in the entry area or you may ask a staff member for one. We accept checks or credit cards. Using a credit card gives you the ability to pay monthly for your gift amount.
