Falmouth Jazz and West Falmouth Library present the return of pianist and composer Laszlo Gardony, performing with his quartet on Sunday, November 16 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $45.
Internationally-acclaimed Boston-based jazz pianist and composer Laszlo Gardony is one of the most expressive and technically skilled pianists working in jazz today. “A formidable improviser who lives in the moment” (JazzTimes), he is a winner of the Great American Jazz Piano Competition. Mr. Gardony’s performances convey the joy of inspired creation; they draw on a deep well of emotions, a prodigious technique, and a playful curiosity that thrives on creating music that is truly alive in each unique moment. He has performed in 27 countries and released 14 albums during his distinguished career. The quartet includes Don Braden (sax), John Lockwood (bass) and Yoron Israel (drums). He has been nominated for Jazz Artist of the Year at the 2025 Boston Music Awards.
