We have weekly storytelling and Stay & Play activities as well as special arts and crafts, STEM, and reading programs all year round. You’ll find lots of other families to connect with too.

Pre-School Playtime
Free and open to all, this weekly unstructured playtime is supervised by parents and caregivers, and aimed for children ages infant to four. Every Friday 10 a.m.-12p.m. in the Children’s Play area on the library’s lower level.
February 2026
Mother Goose on the Loose
Weekly Tuesday Storytimes at WFL, with Miss Martha! 10 – 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday. For Ages 0-3 and Caregivers, Mother Goose on the Loose is a 30-minute early literacy program including songs, rhymes, and stories, with a Stay and Play option until 11 a.m. Registration required.
Story Boat
Weekly Tuesday Storytimes at WFL, with Miss Martha! Story Boat every Tuesday 11-11:45 a.m. For Ages 3-5 and Caregivers, featuring stories, songs, & fingerplays. Annual registration is requested to receive important communications about schedule or location changes.

Take Your Child to the Library Day
Stop in to meet our lovely librarians and enjoy our new children’s space! We’ll have take and make crafts, an origami station in our Teen area and a prize for our young patrons (ages 5+) who sign up for their very first library card! Saturday, Feb 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
AT CAPACITY – Painting With Tea
This event is full. Saturday, February 7 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, join Becky for this unique and free activity, inspired by the artwork of Charlie Mackesy in his book The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse. A great multigenerational activity (if bringing a child, best for ages 7+).

Cozy Crafts & Cocoa
February’s half day guided craft will be Tiny Hats and Love Bugs! Join us on Tuesday, Feb 10 at 2 p.m. This is a free activity. All materials will be provided. This is best suited for school age children that are comfortable using scissors independently. Adults are welcome too!
