Pre-School Playtime
Free and open to all, this weekly unstructured playtime is supervised by parents and caregivers, and aimed for children ages infant to four. Every Friday 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Children’s Play area on the library’s lower level.
YMCA Summer Eats!
Every Friday at noon through August 21, join us on the lawn for a picnic lunch! You’re welcome to bring your own from home for the whole family and the YMCA will be providing FREE lunch to children under 18 years of age. No registration required!

Join Becky on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for Silly Goose Storytime! Fly on over for stories, songs, and fun, with mindful moves for everyone! For ages 0-3 and siblings always welcome! Pre-registration helps attendees stay informed of any schedule or location changes.
STEM with CYC: Buoyancy
Join Betsy with the Chapoquoit Yacht Club for a fun hands-on STEM buoyancy activity to help understand what allows things to float or sink. Wednesday, August 12 at 3 p.m. This activity is for ages 8+. Free!
Suncatcher Craft
Thursday, August 13 at 4 p.m. Join Becky at the craft table! We’ll be making suncatchers with crystal prisms to invite the rainbows inside on sunny days. Best for ages 8+ unless working directly with a present adult.
