It’s here — race day!
Over 10,000 runners will take on the iconic 7-mile course along the Cape Cod coast, from Woods Hole to Falmouth Heights, cheered on by more than 75,000 spectators lining the streets.
This year, WFL’s Treasurer, Ted Curd, will be one of them. In his words, “I’m running not just to finish, but to raise funds for one of our community’s true treasures: the West Falmouth Library.
Libraries are more than just shelves of books — they’re safe havens, learning hubs, and true community centers. From story hours for kids to lifelong learning programs for adults, the West Falmouth Library serves people of all ages.”
As an independent library, we rely on donations for 90% of the funds needed to keep these vital services going.

Every dollar Ted raises will be matched by an anonymous donor — up to $7,000.
