The library’s Artist of the Month for October is photographer Kathy Wade.
Kathy McCulloch Wade grew up spending summers on Cape Cod, along Buzzards Bay and Vineyard Sound. She taught sailing during high school and college and raced small boats. Graduate school took her to the west coast where she raised three now grown children. She returned to Falmouth once they were raised.
Besides wildlife photography, Kathy enjoys racing Cape Cod Knockabouts in Woods Hole, weaving Nantucket style baskets and travel. She loves that she can share the joy of the Cape with her young grandsons.
