Wellness Wednesdays at the Library

The library is proud to offer regular wellness programming for adults seeking peace and self-reflection, nourishment of the mind, body and soul. All activities are open to all, and free unless otherwise noted.

We offer Zen meditation every Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. in the Community Room, led by Unshin Sangaku Dan Joslyn-sensei. During each hour session, there will be directed and silent meditation. Donations welcome. Register for the series. Dan is the founder and guiding teacher of the Falmouth Soto Zen Sangha (FSZS) and has taught for over twenty years.

Weekly Yoga with Chelsea is is held on Wednesdays 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Accessible to beginners, challenging for all. Chelsea expertly guides a holistic practice focusing on mobility, strength, mindful coordination, and the skill of deep relaxation. Wear comfortable clothes that allow for free movement and bring your yoga mat. While blocks are helpful, they aren’t required. Need a mat? Starts June 3–Cultivate and share joy through guided activities and group discussion led by Saramaria Allenby. Drop in for one session or mark your calendar for a year of joyful exploration! Free and open to all! 6:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month at the library. Saramaria Allenby is a Community Chaplain in Falmouth sponsored by Upper Cape Chaplaincy. Register Here
